Which company signs the contract
The official site names 深圳市科晶智达科技有限公司 and uses Shenzhen Kejing Star Technology Company as its English display name in the header. University purchase and acceptance records name the same Chinese company. Ask for a current business licence showing the credit code and the registered English name before you sign.
The site links to other Kejing and MTI organisations and lists some third-party branded instruments next to its own MSK machines. Group companies may each sign contracts separately, and Kejing does not build every item in the catalogue. Your quotation should name the contracting company, the actual manufacturer, the model revision and who handles after-sales service. Battery cyclers and lab analysers from other brands are resold, so agree support for them on their own terms.

What these details mean for selection
The lithium catalogue covers vacuum mixing, continuous and intermittent coating, roll pressing, cutting, tab joining, winding and stacking, pouch and cylindrical assembly, dosing, drying and testing. Kejing sells both small lab machines and pilot machines. A mixer with a working fill of tens or hundreds of millilitres and a 20-litre pilot mixer behave very differently, so compare working fill and shaft design, not the vessel nameplate. Likewise, a coater's web speed and the speed at which it makes good dry electrode are two separate figures.
Start with your cell design and material route. Give electrode and separator sizes, coated loading, drying conditions, batch size and the steps your lab already has. Kejing mentions glovebox and dry-room setups as options that vary by project. Ask Kejing to list every machine, fixture, bought-in instrument and connection so you can see the full scope of the line.
Three university projects supplied by Kejing
A new-energy materials institute at Fuzhou University published a notice on 20 June 2024 that it had accepted a pouch-battery pilot line on 19 June. The notice names Shenzhen Kejing as supplier and states that the models, quantities and parameters matched the contract and that the inspected functions passed.
East China University of Science and Technology's purchase record of 6 May 2025 names Kejing for one MSK-SFM-9-20L-2 mixer. Shenzhen University's procurement result of 1 December 2021 names Kejing for an extrusion and transfer continuous coater, with the MSK-AFA-MC400-DE-M1-CSD as the main machine. These show the kinds of projects Kejing has delivered. Prices in those records were for those buyers; ask for a current quotation for your own project, and expect each machine and cell result to be checked on its own merits.
Read catalogue figures with their test conditions
Each equipment page gives model-specific parameters and notes that details may differ from the current offer. Some figures carry conditions: vacuum measured with an empty vessel, coating speed for a named graphite recipe, or oven uniformity away from the ends. Keep those conditions with the number when you compare machines. Vessel maximums, mechanical speeds and empty-vessel vacuum are machine limits; process results come from trials.
Ask for a signed current specification and a trial on your own material. For mixing, agree working fill, temperature and how dispersion and air removal are judged. For coating and pressing, agree sample areas, dry loading and thickness, edge exclusions and conditioning. For assembly, define the cell drawing, fixture changes and what counts as an accepted sealed or welded sample. A demonstration on a different formulation is a useful start, and your own material settles the question.
Preparing the lab and handover
Kejing machines use different power supplies, compressed air, cooling, vacuum and solvent handling. Check each machine's utility table and whether the pump, chiller, solvent treatment or glovebox adaptation is standard, optional or supplied by you. A connected line also needs a station list and clear rules for transfer and environment between stations.
Ask for installation dimensions, floor loading, handling access, local controls and guarding, operating instructions, calibration and wear parts. Watch the agreed sample and process tests and keep the recipe and configuration records. Handover should state who supports bought-in components, how faults are traced and what training and service terms are included. Kejing lists sales and technical contacts; agree response times and overseas installation in the contract.
