Kejing GM60L binder-solution preparation machine

The Kejing MSK-SFM-GM60L dissolves binder and mixes powder into solvent using a saw-tooth dispersion disc on a hydraulically lifted crossbeam. The vessel holds 60 L working volume. It suits electrode lines that prepare binder solution before the main slurry mix, which runs in a separate planetary mixer.

Vessel, disc, motors and footprint

Kejing lists a 60 L effective volume inside an 84 L design vessel, about 488 mm across and 450 mm deep. Ask Kejing for the batch mass and the smallest charge that mixes well, since only volumes are given. The 200 mm saw-tooth disc turns at up to 1390 rpm. The dispersion motor is 4 kW and the hydraulic unit 0.75 kW, for a total of 5 kW on three-phase AC380 V.

The vessel has no insulation layer. Closed height is about 1400 mm and raised height about 1900 mm, on a 1100×1100 mm footprint, and the machine weighs about 730 kg. Leave room overhead for the lift and around the base for moving the vessel.

BUYER NOTES

Fully dissolved binder is the target

Send the binder grade, solvent, concentration, charging order and the solution end point you need. Decide how undissolved gel or particles will be checked and how samples represent the whole vessel. Kejing describes uniform dispersion in words and gives no dissolution time, temperature programme, vacuum setup or viscosity target for any binder.

Trial your own formulation at the planned charge. Record disc speed, run time and the solution conditions you measure, including any temperature rise that matters to the binder. Agree a signed method for deciding when the solution is ready for the next mixing stage. The top disc speed tells you nothing on its own about dissolution time, air removal or final slurry quality.

BUYER NOTES

Seals, clean-out and what comes next

Static seals are offered in silicone, fluoroelastomer or nitrile rubber; the dynamic seal is SiC-S with fluoroelastomer. Pick the seal for your solvent and binder, and ask the supplier for a schedule of wetted materials, allowed carryover and the cleaning method.

Watch draining and transfer and check access around the disc, vessel and shaft under the maker's safe procedure. Agree limits for residual solution, how cleaning is verified and the checks after a formulation change. A filter, transfer pump or planetary slurry line are separate purchases if you need them. Handover should cover lift guarding, seal wear, drive maintenance and the exact connections to the next step.

The binder solution prepared here is added to the slurry in a mixer such as the Kejing dual-planetary mixers, and a dispersion trial can be set up as described on the page on factory and site acceptance. The finished slurry is judged on a coated sample, as the page on coating, web and roller widths explains.
