Kejing rotary pouch vacuum final-sealing machine

The Kejing MSK-115A-PM makes the final seal on pouch cells after formation. Two rotary stations share one puncture and seal head: the operator loads and unloads, and the machine pulls vacuum, punctures the gas bag, drains it and heat-seals. Cells up to 200×135×15 mm fit, gas bag excluded. Kejing quotes 180–220 pieces/h.

Cell limits, head and sealing figures

The largest cell is 200×135×15 mm without the gas bag, and the gas-bag side must stay below 65 mm, per the supplier's dimension drawing. A 210 mm head seals up to 200 mm. The standard seam is 6 mm wide, with 2–10 mm available or custom tools.

Kejing quotes seal thickness uniformity better than 0.03 mm, a maximum of 150 kgf at 0.6 MPa air, and head temperature up to 250°C with ±2.5°C control. Leak tightness and the pressure on the seal are separate results that your trial must measure. The customer supplies the vacuum pump; Kejing lists up to −95 kPa at standard atmosphere, so agree the reference for a loaded chamber.

BUYER NOTES

Test drainage and the final seal together

Send the pouch laminate, gas-bag geometry, cell condition and the process stage the cells arrive from. Agree puncture position, fixture support, how drained liquid is collected and where the final seal sits. The machine collects electrolyte, but ask how much liquid stays in the cell, what local disposal rules require, and which seal recipe suits your laminate.

Trial representative pouches under the maker's approved conditions. Record temperature, dwell, load and vacuum, and inspect the agreed joints, including tab and seam areas on the drawing. Kejing lists dwell at 0–99 s and recommends 3–4 s; confirm the right value on your material. Set your own limits for seal quality and liquid loss.

BUYER NOTES

Real output depends on the operator

Kejing's reference output is 180–220 pieces/h and depends on operator skill. Count finished pouches that pass your checks across loading, puncture and drainage, sealing and unloading. The two stations take turns at a single head, and loading is manual.

The machine is about 720×860×1700 mm and 300 kg, and needs AC220 V at 1 kW plus compressed air of 0.5–0.8 MPa. The handover covers needle and head wear, chamber and vacuum checks, emptying the liquid collector and safe access to the hot head. Kejing names an entry light curtain and door interlocks; ask the supplier for conformity documents for your site. Kejing gives no figures for finished-cell yield or leakage.

The gas drained here forms during the first charge, a step the formation page explains; filling and pre-sealing happen earlier on a machine such as the Kejing PVM filler. The acceptance testing page covers seal checks.
