Kejing MSK-SFM-16 millilitre-scale vacuum mixer
The Kejing MSK-SFM-16 is a compact vacuum mixer for very small slurry batches. It takes 50, 150 or 500 mL jars, with working fills of 30, 120 and 400 mL, and each jar has its own paddle design. It runs up to 600 rpm with three programmable stages. It suits labs working with scarce or costly active materials.

Jars, paddles, speed and vacuum
Kejing offers 50, 150 and 500 mL jars, with maximum working fills of 30, 120 and 400 mL. The smallest jar uses a single-axis blade, the 150 mL jar twin-axis blades and the 500 mL jar twin-axis planetary ribbon paddles. All three fit the same machine.
The table lists up to 600 rpm, three programmable speed stages and run times of 0–600 minutes. Kejing quotes 10000 mPa·s at 600 rpm and suggests lower speeds for thicker slurries; ask for the speed and torque limits that apply to your formulation. A built-in pump is listed at −70 kPa. Ask whether that is gauge or absolute and what the jar reaches when loaded.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Jar nominal volumes | 50 / 150 / 500 mL | known |
| Effective-fill maxima | 30 / 120 / 400 mL | known |
| Maximum listed rotation | 600 rpm | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.

Losses and residue in small batches
Pick the jar and paddle for your actual batch size and cleaning needs. Ask for the smallest practical fill, how much slurry clings to the wall and paddle, and the best way to recover it, since Kejing publishes none of these. Specify the wetted materials and any solvent compatibility your formulation needs.
Run your planned sequence and record speed, time, slurry temperature and vacuum. Then compare samples for dispersion, trapped gas and your chosen rheology or coating test. If each batch is expensive, weigh the recovered slurry and the residue left behind. Forward and reverse rotation and staged speeds help you build a recipe; dispersion quality still has to be measured on the slurry.
Get a mixer-only datasheet before ordering
Kejing's product page also carries a 48 V/50 Ah battery and BMS table below the mixer data. Those figures belong to a different product. Ask Kejing for a current datasheet covering only the mixer and your chosen jar and paddle, especially if the vacuum figure or viscosity limit drives your experiment.
Power is AC110–220 V, 50/60 Hz, 280 W, and the machine weighs about 35 kg. Plan the bench position, pump exhaust and safe opening after vacuum release. Handover should cover cleaning, jar and seal maintenance, timer and speed settings and any limits for particular solvents. Kejing claims no coating or cell results for this mixer.
Small batches like these are usually coated on a lab coater such as the Kejing SD300.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which jar and paddle suit your batch? | The catalogue gives 30, 120 and 400 mL fills with a different paddle per jar. | State your working volume and trial its recovery. |
| What does −70 kPa mean? | The catalogue gives −70 kPa without a reference. | Confirm gauge or absolute basis and the loaded value. |
| How much slurry can you recover? | The catalogue gives no hold-up figure. | Measure usable recovery and cleaning residue. |
