Kejing MSK-140-AL pouch top/side heat sealer
The Kejing MSK-140-AL heat-seals the top or side edges of pouch cells. The operator loads and clamps the cell, then the machine heats and seals. Soft top tooling seals around the tabs and hard tooling seals the side. It takes cells up to 300×300×12 mm and gives about 300 mm of sealing length.

Cell size, tooling, temperature and force
Kejing gives a largest cell of 300×300×12 mm and a smallest of 62×46×2 mm; smaller cells are custom. A 320 mm head gives about 300 mm of effective sealing length. The standard soft top tool is 3.5 mm wide and the hard side tool is 6 mm, with other widths made to order.
Upper and lower heads reach 250°C with ±2°C control. The supplier recommends about 200°C for soft sealing and 180°C for hard sealing; treat these as starting points for your laminate. The catalogue lists a maximum of 160 kgf at 0.6 MPa air. Pressure on the film depends on the contact area of the tool, so ask Kejing to work it out for your joint geometry.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |

| Maximum listed head temperature | 250 °C | known |
| Reference operator-dependent speed | 2–3 pieces/min | known |

Tab seals and side seals need separate trials
Send the laminate and sealant construction, the tab thickness and material, and drawings of the top and side seals. Set the allowed imprint, the seal width and the joint behaviour you will test. A good side seal made with the hard tool tells you nothing about a tab exit made with the soft tool.
Trial each seal on representative parts and log head temperatures, dwell and the approved load setting. The table gives a dwell range of 0–99 s and recommends 4–8 s; confirm the right value for your material. Judge the joints by agreed peel, leak and visual checks, paying close attention to the tab edges. Kejing publishes no leak rate or seal strength for a new material stack, so these figures come from your trial.
The manual cycle sets real output
The operator loads and removes every cell. Kejing's reference speed of about 2–3 pieces/min therefore varies with handling, the seal sequence and the recipe. State whether the delivered setup seals both edges and how the fixtures keep the cell located and undamaged when it is turned between seals.
The machine runs on AC220 V at about 1.8 kW with 0.5–0.8 MPa air. Follow the supplier's procedures for access to the hot heads. Handover should cover temperature checks, tool wear and cleaning, guarding and recipe changeover. Electrolyte filling, formation, final degassing and the rest of a pouch line are separate steps, so list in your enquiry which of them you expect to buy elsewhere.
Seals are checked on samples during acceptance, as the FAT and SAT page explains.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which joint uses which tool? | The catalogue lists a 3.5 mm soft top tool and a 6 mm hard side tool. | Approve tooling against each laminate and tab drawing. |
| Which temperature and dwell suit your film? | The catalogue recommends about 200°C soft, 180°C hard and 4–8 s dwell. | Run a sealing trial on your own material and record the recipe. |
| What is the usable full-cycle rate? | The catalogue gives about 2–3 pieces/min with manual loading and unloading. | Count accepted joints using your intended operator sequence. |
