Who Shenzhen Geesun is
Geesun's introduction names the company 深圳吉阳智能科技有限公司 and says it was founded in 2006. Its contact address is Dejin Industrial Park, No.40 Fuyuan 1st Road, Zhancheng Community, Fuhai Subdistrict, Bao'an, Shenzhen. Geesun is the brand used on its website, and the English company name shown here is a translation. Shenzhen Greensun Technology is a different company with its own directory page.
National standard records and a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology list both carry the exact Chinese name. The sources give no unified social credit code. Before ordering, ask for a current business licence and check the contracting entity, registration details and delivery address. The 2006 founding date comes from Geesun's own introduction.

Equipment details →Published parameters
| Parameter | Catalogue value |
|---|---|
| Negative-electrode feed width | 35–160 mm |
| Positive-electrode feed width | 300–650 mm |
| Unit-piece length | 200–2000 mm |
| Claimed cleaning dimensional accuracy | ≤±0.3 mm |
What these details mean for selection
Geesun's laser cleaner removes coating to make patterned bare areas on the electrode. Its tab-forming machine cuts tabs and then divides the electrode with a slitting blade. The two machines do different jobs. The integrated prismatic laser-cut winder forms tabs inside the machine, while the cylindrical winder takes electrodes whose tabs are already cut. A separate large-prismatic winder serves power and storage cells with multi-tab or full-tab designs.
The composite stacking line takes tab-cut rolls and runs electrode cutting, separator lamination, stacking, hot pressing and wrap taping before discharge. Its own page gives the configuration and speed conditions, which differ from a standaloneZ-fold stacker. Geesun also sells negative-pressure formation, capacity grading and OCV, IR and temperature testing, so you can scope those stages apart from electrode and core assembly.
Standards work and the 2023 ministry listing
The national standards service lists Shenzhen Geesun among the drafters of plan 20160533-T-604, General technical requirements for Li-ion battery made machine. That plan became the published standardGB/T38331-2019. Ask Geesun which of its current machines it states conform to that standard, and include the relevant clauses in your acceptance test.
The 2023 ministry PDF lists the company at entry 461 on PDF page 25 for two intelligent-manufacturing scenes: digital product design and production planning optimisation. Shenzhen's industry and development authorities recommended it. The listing covers those scenes only; factory capacity and cell yield need their own checks. Geesun's introduction also gives patent, staff, award and ranking figures, which you can ask it to document during supplier qualification.
Start every trial from your electrode and cell drawing
For laser processing, send the collector and coating materials, thicknesses, pattern geometry and your limits for heat-affected zone, burrs, particles and dimensions. State the product speed you need and how samples will be taken. Geesun's tab-cutting page gives one speed in its introduction and another in its table, so get a signed specification for the configuration you buy. Particle levels and cell output on a new electrode formula come from a trial.
For winding and composite stacking, send the tab pattern, electrode and separator sizes and the finished-core drawing. Agree tension and registration limits, changeover, handling of rejected material and what counts as a good core. Moving from pre-cut electrodes to in-machine tab forming changes the scope of the machine. Plan the incoming feed quality, dust extraction, buffering and traceability to match.
Factory acceptance, line scope and service
Plan a factory-acceptance run with representative material, the approved configuration and a sample plan that traces dimensions, defects and final assembly quality. For a line, list every station, bought-in instrument, guard, extraction unit, control interface and the utilities you must supply. Formation and grading need their own electrical recipes and measurement conditions, and their results come from those stations.
Ask for project training, spare parts, calibration, remote-service terms and recovery instructions for interrupted production. Geesun describes international service and lists customers and awards; write the response time and shipment schedule you need into the contract.

Equipment
Geesun GLC electrode coating-pattern laser-cleaning family
Model · GLC
The Geesun GLC uses a laser to remove coating from calendered or uncalendered electrode rolls, leaving patterned bare areas. The negative version takes 35–160 mm rolls at ≥20 ppm; the positive version takes 300–650 mm rolls at ≥72 ppm. Both list ≤±0.3 mm cleaning accuracy and suit tab and welding-area preparation.

Geesun GWDL/GWFL laser tab-forming and slitting family
Model · GWDL / GWFL
Geesun's GWDL and GWFL laser-cut tabs along calendered electrode rolls and then slit each roll into two lanes with a blade. GWDL takes 120–500 mm rolls at ≥120 m/min, and GWFL takes 150–600 mm rolls at ≥90 m/min. Both list tabs up to 35 mm high and a heat-affected zone of ≤80 µm.

Can Geesun supply a full cell-manufacturing factory?
Geesun's catalogue covers electrode laser processing, core assembly and some downstream electrical equipment. It shows no single project from slurry mixing to finished cells. If you need a turnkey factory, name your process route and ask for a complete list of stations and interfaces. Machines you already own, new materials and your cell design can change the integration work a great deal.
