Geesun GCBA-3H three-head cylindrical-core winding machine
The Geesun GCBA-3H winds tab-cut positive and negative electrodes with separator into cylindrical cores. It has three winding heads that hand work between them, servo closed-loop tension and tab-fold checks. The table lists 20–65 mm diameter, 120–240 mm height, ±0.3 mm alignment and at least 20 ppm, which points to large-format cylindrical cells.

Core size, alignment and rate
The table gives a diameter of 20–65 mm, a height of 120–240 mm, overall winding alignment±0.3 mm and working efficiency≥20 ppm. Those heights are taller than common 18650 or 21700 cells. Ask Geesun whether the size row describes the finished core, the electrode width or another reference, and check it against your core drawing. Ask too for the electrode length and auxiliary time behind the rate.
Geesun describes three heads that swap work to cut auxiliary time, servo closed-loop tension with live monitoring, variable spindle speed for constant line speed, diameter measurement and taper forming. It also lists automatic supercapacitor winding. If you wind lithium cells, quote your own cell construction so the recipe and fixtures match your materials.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |

| Published height interval, datum to confirm | 120–240 mm | known |
| Claimed overall winding alignment | ±0.3 mm | known |
| Conditional listed efficiency | ≥20 ppm | known |

Pre-cut electrode feed and tab checks
The GCBA-3H takes electrode rolls whose tabs are already cut. Laser tab forming happens upstream on a separate machine. Send the tab shape and pitch, the coating and collector specifications, the separator and the core drawing. Agree the allowed tab folding, layer alignment and core geometry, and ask how defects in incoming rolls are caught before winding.
Geesun mentions checks on welding energy, the winding process and tab folding, without naming the welding station, instruments or limits. Request the list of supplied stations and what each inspection covers. Run a material trial to set tension values, sensor ranges and the response to a splice or a bad tab. Core quality is then checked on the wound samples.
Accepting all three heads
At acceptance, sample cores from each head and record the head, the incoming rolls and the recipe. Measure winding alignment from the agreed reference, check terminal and tab condition, and inspect dimensions after unloading. Include first-off cores, a planned stop and restart, and any changeover you intend to run. If you need taper forming, specify its shape and quality checks, because no taper figure is published.
Watch the full load, wind, swap and unload sequence at your electrode length and count good cores and rejects over an agreed period. Ask for tool wear and cleaning procedures, extraction and guards, recipe backups and lock-out for maintenance. Can insertion, filling, sealing and formation sit outside this machine; quote them as a separate project. The 20 ppm figure is Geesun's catalogue rate, and the timed run gives your own.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| What does the 120–240 mm height row describe? | The table lists 20–65 mm diameter and 120–240 mm height, taller than common small cells. | Confirm the size reference against your core drawing. |
| Which incoming tab and welding operations are included? | The page states pre-cut electrode feed and mentions welding-energy checks without station details. | Approve the station list and inspection limits in the quotation. |
| Do all heads produce the same accepted core? | Three heads swap work to shorten auxiliary time. | Sample each head and count good cores over a timed run. |
