Geesun OCV, resistance and temperature tray-test station
Geesun's OCV station tests cell voltage, internal resistance and temperature on two trays, in 2×12,2×10 or 2×8 channel layouts. It has built-in zeroing and master-reference positions. Geesun lists ±0.01%rdg ±3dgt for voltage, ±0.5%rdg ±10dgt for resistance and ±0.5 °C for temperature. It suits post-formation and ageing checks.
Accuracy figures, channel layouts and probes
Voltage accuracy is printed as±0.01%rdg ±3dgt and internal resistance as±0.5%rdg ±10dgt. Each figure has a reading part and a digit part. Ask Geesun for the instrument ranges and digit resolution so you can turn them into absolute µV and µΩ limits, and ask for the resistance frequency, excitation and method as well.
The tray and channel layouts are 2×12,2×10 or 2×8. Probe life is≥300000 operations, and a test-probe row reads 89–252 mm without saying what that length describes. Ask for a probe drawing showing the geometry, contact travel or other dimension it refers to. Confirm the cell sizes your trays need and the full station cycle time in the quotation.

Tray positioning, probe wiring and reference checks
Geesun describes secondary tray positioning, linear modules that move and press the probes, and non-metallic probe wiring to cut electrical interference. Send your tray, terminal and contact drawings, and ask for contact repeatability and poor-contact detection on the offered fixture. Check noise on your own cells during the trial.
The zero and master-reference positions allow one-button zeroing and calibration. Specify reference traceability, range and check interval. Agree what happens when a check fails: whether production stops, earlier records are flagged or cells are retested. Plan a separate comparison of every installed channel against calibrated standards at acceptance.
Temperature contact time and the full tray cycle
Ambient temperature is measured to±0.5 °C. A separate cell-temperature row also gives±0.5 °C with a contact time of≤50 s, and Geesun mentions tooling for the temperature-wiring sequence. Ask for the sensor design, the settling rule and which measurements run at the same time. Contact can take up to 50 seconds, so ask how that fits into the total tray time.
At acceptance, compare electrical results at a set cell temperature, state of charge and rest time, and keep cell, tray and channel identity with each result. Watch a failed zero or reference check, a poor contact and an interrupted cycle handled by Geesun's procedure. Keep invalid readings and retests apart from cell rejects. At handover, get the tray layout, instrument settings, probe replacement and check routine, and the full load, test and unload timing. Capacity grading and the link to your data system are separate scope items.
OCV readings here feed the aging and grading decisions described on the formation and capacity grading page.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| What absolute uncertainty follows from the mixed terms? | Accuracy is given as a percentage of reading plus digits, with no range or resolution. | Approve the combined figure and compare channels against calibrated standards. |
| What does 89–252 mm refer to? | The probe row gives 89–252 mm without saying what it measures. | Review probe and tray drawings and run a contact trial. |
| How does temperature measurement fit the cycle? | The table lists ≤50 s contact time and no tray cycle time. | Time electrical and temperature tests together and count good trays. |
