Geesun GSSF electrode/separator composite stacking machine
The Geesun GSSF takes electrode rolls with tabs already cut, cuts the electrode pieces, laminates them with separator and drop-stacks them into cores, followed by hot pressing and wrap taping. The table lists 8–35 mm core thickness, 250–600 mm length, CCD positioning, 480–800 ppm and 0.125 s/piece per table. It suits long stacked cores.

Core size, stacking accuracy and the three rate figures
Geesun lists core thickness 8–35 mm,80–150 mm width and 250–600 mm length, with CCD positioning and stacking accuracy of±0.3 to±0.5 mm. The table gives a working efficiency of 480–800 ppm and an auxiliary time of 0 seconds. The introduction adds 0.125 s/piece per stacking table and up to 1 GWh a year per machine. Ask what one piece in the ppm row is, how many tables are fitted, the layer count, the discharge steps and the operating calendar behind the annual figure.
A0.125-second cycle equals 480 cycles a minute, yet the page does not say whether each cycle is one electrode, one composite unit or one finished core. Annual energy capacity also depends on your cell design and working hours. Ask the supplier for one consistent capacity calculation built on your drawing, and check it in a timed run.

The laminated electrode-separator structure
This route differs from a stacker fed with loose cut sheets or a standard separatorZ-fold. Send the electrode coating and separator materials, the tab-cut roll geometry, the composite structure you want and the full layer schedule. Ask for the method and settings for laminating the separator, cutting the electrode, stacking, hot pressing and taping. The page describes the sequence and gives no bonding or temperature figures.
Geesun describes wrinkle-free separator, flat core interfaces and suitability for semi-solid and solid-state cells. Ask which separators, electrolyte systems and solid-state designs it has run, and trial your own. Agree checks for wrinkles, layer position, interfaces and material damage on representative material with a set sampling plan. Define the CCD reference point and what happens when it finds a defect.
Timing good cores in the acceptance run
The factory-acceptance recipe should state the layer count, core design, material rolls, number of stacking tables and every finishing step included. Log elapsed time, good finished cores, rejects and stoppages. Ask Geesun to explain the 0-second auxiliary-time row, especially for finishing, discharge, reloading and changeover, and time those steps during the run.
Watch a stop and restart and the supplier's recovery of a part-built stack, including tracking and rejection if it cannot be finished. At handover, collect the installed process and inspection list, calibration references, cutting consumables, guards and extraction, heating and utility needs, and recipe backups. Case assembly, filling, formation and cell release are later steps on other equipment. Use the good-core rate from the run in your capacity plan.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| What do the three output claims count? | The catalogue gives 0.125 s/piece,480–800 ppm and 1 GWh/year without stating the unit counted. | Get a calculation by layers, tables, finishing and hours, then time good cores. |
| Is the composite process qualified for this material? | The catalogue mentions semi-solid and solid-state suitability without a recipe. | Trial your electrode and separator structure and inspect the interfaces. |
| What happens to a partly stacked core? | The table lists 0 seconds auxiliary time and no recovery procedure. | Agree how stopped material is handled and watch a traceable recovery. |
