Zhengzhou Honsenze Automation Equipment

Honsenze is an automation maker in Zhengzhou whose lithium-battery range covers PACK assembly stations for cylindrical cells: an 18650 voltage and resistance sorter, an insulation-paper applicator, a servo resistance spot welder and an ultrasonic metal-joining station. It suits buyers who receive finished cells and build packs.

Where Honsenze fits in a battery project

Honsenze introduces itself as a company that designs, manufactures, sells and services custom automation equipment and intelligent production lines. Beyond batteries it builds for 3C electronics, automotive parts and general assembly. Its lithium-battery section is the narrower part that matters to a pack buyer.

If you take in finished cylindrical cells and assemble packs, the sorter, insulation applicator and spot welder cover neighbouring steps of that work. Each one is a separate station. Ask Honsenze to state where each machine's responsibility ends, how cells pass to the pack fixture or conveyor, and whether the stations share traceability software and a combined output figure.

The company's address is in Xingyang, Zhengzhou, near the crossing of Zhongyuan West Road and Wanshan Road, and its introduction mentions a branch in Zibo. The English name used here is a translation of the Chinese company name. Overseas service and commissioning terms belong in the quotation.

What these details mean for selection

Cell sorting: Honsenze describes voltage and internal-resistance testing of 18650 cylindrical cells, with a PLC moving the cells and a PC collecting the instrument data. Ask for the instrument model, the calibration method and the bin logic. Voltage and resistance grouping tells you about matching at the time of test; capacity and pack life need their own tests.

Insulation-paper application: the catalogue shows roll-fed punching and application at the positive end, four cells per punch, and tooling changes across an indicated 18–21 range. Send an exact cell drawing and ask for the matching die schedule. The page gives more than one paper thickness, so name the material and thickness you want in the quotation.

Resistance spot welding: the welder uses servo heads, monitors current in real time and is designed to sit inside a pack assembly line. For 18650 cells, Honsenze's example rate is about 2,500–3,000 per hour. Your own rate depends on joint count, tab material, handling and testing, so time a trial on your pack.

Ultrasonic joining: the station is shown joining foil or sheet combinations of copper, aluminium and nickel, and the introduction also mentions housings. Send the real joint drawing and ask for a sample weld. If you need a sealed case joint, ask Honsenze to demonstrate it on your part.

A provincial technology-SME listing

The Henan government list titled ‘Henan Province 2025 Third Batch of Registered Technology-based SMEs’ names 郑州泓升泽自动化设备有限公司 at entry 5904, registration number 2025410182A0016895. It matches the Chinese company name on the official website.

The listing is dated 2025 and records an administrative registration. It says nothing about any machine's performance, export approval or ISO scope. Honsenze's website shows management-system certificates; ask for copies with the holder name, scope and expiry date, and check that they cover the company that signs your contract.

04

Make the station interfaces part of the enquiry

Prepare one cell drawing and one pack assembly drawing before you ask for a line price. Mark cell orientation, tray pitch, tab geometry and insulation position, and show how good and rejected cells leave each station. Decide who holds the barcode record once a sorted cell goes into a pack.

Trial each station on its own job. For the sorter, set the bins and run a sample you know is out of range. For insulation application, look at hole registration, access to the terminal and any adhesive or scrap left on the cell. For the welder, agree a destructive joint test and a log of process settings next to the electrical checks.

The commissioning plan should list three stages: empty running, single-station trials, and a full pack run with your own cells and materials. Price spares and tooling apart from the base machines, including welding electrodes and sonotrode tooling where they apply.

Equipment portfolio

Choose the operation you need

Each dossier explains a separate equipment scope, its catalogue facts and the questions to resolve for your application.

Equipment

Cylindrical-cell insulation-paper applicator

Honsenze's insulation-paper applicator takes a roll of insulation material, punches pads and applies them to the positive end of cylindrical cells, four cells per punching stroke. Dies change for the 18–21 range. It suits pack lines that fit insulation after sorting and before spot welding.

Equipment

Battery ultrasonic metal-joining station

Honsenze's ultrasonic metal-joining station sits in its lithium-battery PACK range and joins foil or sheet stacks such as copper foil to nickel sheet and aluminium foil to aluminium sheet. The catalogue gives no power, frequency or working area, so your joint drawing and tooling drive the quote.

Buyer questions

Does Honsenze supply cell-making equipment from slurry onward?

Its lithium-battery pages cover PACK preparation and joining only. The range has no machines for slurry mixing, electrode coating, calendering, winding, electrolyte filling or formation. For an upstream cell project, ask Honsenze for a separate written equipment list, or source those steps from a cell-equipment maker.

Each source below is the maker's own page or a public record, with the date it was checked. Ask the factory to confirm the figures for your order in writing.
