Xiamen Tmax Battery Equipments Limited
Xiamen TMAX builds battery laboratory equipment and larger production-line configurations, from mixers and coaters to calenders and formation stations. Its lead machine here is the TMAX-300-H400 heated calender, with a 300 mm usable pressing width on a 400 mm roll, suited to electrode rolling trials and pilot lines.

Laboratory cells, production lines and more from one Xiamen catalogue
TMAX's Xiamen site splits its range into laboratory cell equipment and larger production-line builds. It also sells furnaces, coating machines and presses for work outside batteries. The company page says it makes equipment in its own base factory and also through subcontracting factories. For any project, name in the contract which entity builds the chosen machine and which party handles integration, commissioning and warranty.
The company page shows certificates and names customers. Ask TMAX for current copies of any certificate your project needs. The English trading name and the registered Chinese company should both appear on the contract documents.
How big TMAX is and how it builds
TMAX gives roughly 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space and more than 230 staff on one page. Another page shows 245 workers, six patents and twenty years in the trade. The two pages differ, so read the numbers as a rough scale. The more useful fact for a buyer is that TMAX combines its own base factory with subcontracting factories.
Many Xiamen laboratory-equipment makers work this way, and it causes no trouble when the paperwork is clear. Write down who builds the quoted machine, who commissions it and who handles warranty claims. For a heated calender, also agree where the factory acceptance test will run and which electrode TMAX will press during it.
The TMAX range on BatteryEquip also covers a heated sheet doctor-blade coater, an intermittent web coater, a dual-shaft vacuum mixer and a pouch-cell formation station. Each has its own page.

What these details mean for selection
The featured machine is the TMAX-300-H400 Heated Electrode Roller Press. Its page sets out why the usable pressing width is narrower than the 400 mm roll face and lists what a heated rolling trial should record. The portfolio further down lists more TMAX machines on BatteryEquip.
From a university hot-roller reference to your own roll-to-roll trial
Supporting information for a 2025 study held by the University of Chicago names Xiamen TMAX Battery Equipments Limited as the maker of a vertical hot roller used to prepare dry film. The paper gives no model number, so it may or may not be the TMAX-300-H400. It shows TMAX equipment in use in a university laboratory.
For the heated press itself, plan around the 300 mm usable width and ask for a trial with the quoted unwinder, press and rewinder running together. That trial shows tension behaviour, installed runout and output for this exact configuration. The model-specific proposal should also name the contracting entity and the party that commissions the line.
