NEWARE
NEWARE, founded in Shenzhen in 1998, makes battery test systems for laboratories and factories: cell cyclers, formation and grading systems, environmental chambers, BMS and pack testers, with fixtures and software. Its CT-4008Q-5V6A-S1 cycler covers 0.5 mA to 6 A in four current ranges.

Cabinet, fixtures and software as one system
NEWARE sells to battery manufacturers, materials suppliers, quality departments and university laboratories. Its range is grouped into battery test equipment, automatic production, accessories and software. When you configure a test system, specify the cabinet, the holders or cables, temperature measurement and software functions together, because the connection decides what the cabinet can deliver at the cell.
The Shenzhen legal entity is 深圳市新威尔电子有限公司. NEWARE also lists international offices and partners; ask which one will support your site.
A test-equipment specialist since 1998
NEWARE gives 1998 as its founding year and traces its first test-system architecture to 1999, with a laboratory information management system added in 2012. Its present range goes well beyond bench cyclers: formation and grading systems, environmental chambers, BMS test systems, pack end-of-line testers and power-battery systems that it rates up to 3,000 V.
Because the same company makes laboratory cyclers and production test equipment, say early which one you are buying. A laboratory cycler is judged on low-current accuracy, pulse response and software; a formation system is judged on channel count, temperature control and data throughput. The tester selection page and the formation page describe the specifications that matter for each, and the cell measurement page explains the DCIR test that NEWARE cyclers can run. For a comparison, the LAND CT5003AK is a high-current laboratory tester.

What these details mean for selection
NEWARE appears on BatteryEquip through the CT-4008Q-5V6A-S1 Battery Test System: eight channels, four current ranges from 0.5 mA to 6 A, and a 25 mV to 5 V voltage range. Its page explains how to use the ranges and why the lowest discharge voltage depends on the holder and cable.
A district government visit report
A Futian District technology and industry bureau report dated 23 October 2025 names the Shenzhen company and records a visit about its battery test systems. It confirms the legal name. For the CT model, ask NEWARE for the range-by-range calibration certificate and its response-time figures in writing.
