Battery module and PACK end-of-line tester

HYNN's end-of-line tester checks battery modules and packs for insulation resistance, withstand voltage, total voltage, AC resistance, DCIR, BMS and relay functions, cell-voltage consistency and temperature. Results bind to a barcode, with several CAN interfaces, role permissions and MES upload.

Test functions and data handling

HYNN's page lists insulation resistance, withstand voltage, total voltage, AC resistance, DCIR, BMS and relay functions, cell-voltage consistency and temperature acquisition. A one- or two-dimensional barcode starts each test and the result is bound to it. The tester has several CAN interfaces, user-role permissions and uploads test data to MES.

The page gives no voltage, current or range table for a fixed model. Ask which tests your configuration performs, which external instruments it connects to and how the fixture attaches to the module or PACK. Ask separately for the test accuracy on each range and for proof that it works with your BMS protocol.

BUYER NOTES

Make the pass or fail decision and the data handover visible

Send your test sequence, limits, BMS messages, product variants and the result fields you need. Ask for a sample record showing product identity, software and recipe version, measurements and the final decision. Agree how a failed or interrupted test is marked so it can never look like a completed pass.

Have HYNN show the handover from host computer to MES, including a communication loss and a duplicate barcode. In your enquiry, keep instrument acceptance apart from line takt, because fixture connection, linked tests and operator actions often set the real station cycle.

BUYER NOTES

Keep release testing apart from assembly

Treat this machine as an end-of-line test package, even though the supplier also offers PACK assembly. Ask which pack design, test functions and interfaces are in the quoted configuration. Finishing the assembly and producing a documented electrical release are two different deliverables, so name the station responsible for each result.

Use an agreed sample dataset and a representative pack to check barcode binding, result retrieval and the handling of missing records. Agree who authorises a retest and how the earlier failed result stays visible after a passing repeat. Ask for the equipment and software versions together with an exported release record. HYNN's company-wide delivery totals do not answer any of these points; these checks qualify the EOL package itself.

Equipment questions

Does MES upload prove plant compatibility?

No. MES upload is a listed function. Test the field map, protocol, acknowledgement and recovery with your own MES.

Does the name-change notice cover current certificates?

No. It records a dated change of company name. Ask for current documents for the company and for the quoted machine.
