S-DP-150 semi-automatic Z-fold electrode stacker
The TOB-S-DP-150 stacks cut electrode sheets into a Z-folded separator fed from a roll. Vacuum pick-ups and positioning place each sheet; the operator loads magazines and removes finished stacks. Electrodes run 80–150 mm long and 30–90 mm wide. TOB quotes 1.3–1.5 s per piece and ±0.5 mm registration. It suits pouch-cell pilot work.

Electrode, tab and separator limits
The table gives an electrode length of 80–150 mm, width of 30–90 mm and thickness of 0.07–0.25 mm. Separator width is 90–150 mm and thickness 0.02–0.04 mm, on a 76.2 mm core with rolls up to 300 mm OD. The tab has its own size limits, so check the full drawing, tab included.
TOB quotes 1.3–1.5 seconds per piece and ±0.5 mm registration accuracy. Ask how registration was measured, on how many sheets, and how long a complete stack cycle takes.

Trial your sheets in the magazines
Show the supplier the electrode coating, edge condition, curl and handling orientation. Ask how sheets are separated, presented to the vacuum pick-up and positioned before stacking. A sheet within the size range can still feed badly if its surface or flatness differs from the demonstration material.
Include tab orientation and the size difference between positive and negative sheets in the trial. Record how magazines are refilled and how a missing or double sheet is detected and cleared.

Check finished stacks layer by layer
Agree where registration is measured, which layer pairs are compared and how separator overhang is checked. Inspect enough stacks to cover a set run and a magazine refill, and log any stoppages.
To get cells per hour, multiply the time per piece by your layer count and add the time spent off-stacking. Record refills, separator changes, stack removal and recovery from faults when you judge real output.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Does the whole drawing fit? | The catalogue sets separate limits for electrode body, tab, separator width and roll size. | Review positive, negative and separator drawings together as one stack. |
| What does ±0.5 mm measure? | The catalogue gives ±0.5 mm with no sampling or reference method. | Set reference edges, layer pairs and sample checks before the alignment trial. |
| How many usable stacks come from a run? | The catalogue gives 1.3–1.5 s per piece. | Time a full run at your layer count and log stoppages and rejects. |
Equipment questions
What does the operator still do?
TOB lists automatic pick-up and separator tension but calls the machine semi-automatic. Ask for a task list covering loading, alignment setup, stack removal and fault recovery, so you can staff the machine correctly.
