Dies, size and pressure figures
TOB describes a standard die for CR2032, CR2025 and CR2016 with seal-height adjustment. Optional dies are listed for CR2325, CR2450, AG3 and AG5. Ask for the exact die list for the cases you will use.
The press measures 232 × 170 × 330 mm and weighs 28 kg. The table gives a maximum hydraulic pressure of 200 kg/cm² and a working range of 80–100 kg/cm². These are hydraulic gauge figures; ask TOB what force they produce on each case.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|

Judge the finished seal
Send the supplier your positive and negative case drawings, the gasket and the planned stack height. Ask for a demonstration of die setup and adjustment with those parts. A setting that works on an empty case may crush or under-seal a loaded cell.
Agree the formed height and the inspection points around the rim. If you need leak testing, define the method and handling separately. TOB describes the seal as leak-free in general terms, so test sealing on your own case and gasket.

Fit inside the glovebox
Measure the glovebox port, work surface and headroom against the full press envelope. Allow for handle travel, access to the adjusters and room to lift out the cell. At 28 kg, also plan the support surface and how the press goes through the transfer chamber.
Ask how die changes and routine maintenance are done inside your enclosure, working through gloves. Check comfort of use and compatibility with your glovebox atmosphere in person if you can.
Coin cells closed with this crimper are then cycled on small testers such as the NEWARE CT-4008Q, while the acceptance testing page describes checking a crimp before relying on the results.
