Hangke formation-restraint loading and release equipment

Hangke's restraint loading and release machine fits and removes the fixtures that hold cells under force during formation. Hangke lists automatic installation and removal, quick changeover, high-precision loading and a restraint force of 0–15 T. It works alongside formation systems on prismatic and other cells that are formed under pressure.

The 0–15 T force figure and what it leaves open

Hangke gives the force in T, without saying whether that means tonne-force, under what calibration conditions or over what contact area. Ask for an engineering definition of the unit. Pressure on each cell depends on contact area and load spread, so ask for a pressure figure per cell for your fixture. Hangke mentions high-precision loading without a control accuracy figure.

Send the cell and restraint drawings, occupied positions, contact areas and the allowed deformation. Specify the load or displacement sequence and the signal that confirms a fixture is correctly engaged. Ask whether the machine works with your existing trays, airbags or formation equipment, and what interface work that needs.

BUYER NOTES

Linking the restraint state to the formation recipe

Agree how fixture ID, cell and tray ID and load state are checked before the electrical process starts. Decide which system sets the required restraint force and whether the result is measured by a load sensor or taken from actuator position. Hangke publishes no feedback design or data interface, so request both.

Watch load application and release on the approved fixture, checked against calibrated force references. Inspect cells and contact areas against the agreed damage and deformation limits. Include a half-engaged fixture or wrong-fixture case defined by Hangke. When demonstrating quick changeover, check that the recipe and tool are verified as well as swapped quickly.

BUYER NOTES

Stored force, release and recovery

Ask for the operating and isolation sequence that decides when the restraint may open and when a cell may move. After a fault or power loss the fixture may still hold force, so ask Hangke whether the machine holds or releases in that case and how. Review that logic together with the electrical state of the formation equipment.

At handover, get the wear and contact surfaces, load-sensor calibration, maintenance access and recovery steps for fixtures left half-fitted or half-released. Hangke states no cell rate, pressure spread or effect on cell performance, so set the force for your cell design in the specification. Base acceptance on the delivered restraint and its interfaces.

Hangke's profile lists the formation systems this station serves, such as the Hangke prismatic negative-pressure formation system, and the page on formation and grading explains why restraint force matters during the first charge. The acceptance testing page covers how to verify force on a full tray, and the RFQ guide lists how to request the force definition.
