Hangke prismatic negative-pressure formation system

Hangke's prismatic formation system runs precharge and negative-pressure formation for aluminium-shell cells. It combines power, handling, negative-pressure and safety modules, and comes with airbag, restraint or plastic trays. Hangke lists a 600 V maximum charging voltage, about 20% better space use and 50% shorter installation and commissioning time.

Tray options, the 600 V figure and the savings claims

Hangke offers airbag trays, restraint trays and plastic trays. For your cell, ask for a drawing of the contacts, fill-port access, restraint and vacuum connections on the chosen tray. The page gives no cell-size range, channel count or recipe. Ask which existing restraint fixtures and cell sizes each tray accepts.

Hangke gives 600 V as the highest charging voltage, without the number of cells in series, the DC-bus layout or the limit per channel. Ask for the electrical architecture and the protection on each cell, since a single lithium cell runs at a small fraction of that voltage. Hangke also claims about 20% better space use and 50% shorter installation and debug time; ask for the baseline, what installation covers and the conditions behind both figures.

BUYER NOTES

The negative-pressure path from cell to exhaust

Send your precharge and formation sequence, the fill-port drawing and the pressure-time profile you need. Ask where pressure is measured, how channels share a vacuum circuit and how seals are tested before current flows. Raise electrolyte containment, condensate handling and pressure uniformity at every cell during commissioning.

Agree who supplies the pumps, pipework, separators or exhaust treatment, and how contaminated fixtures are cleaned. Ask for the response to a leaking port, a loose hose and a blocked line, then watch how the affected cells and neighbouring channels are held. Check for leaks at each cell, since a reading at the central pump can miss a single bad port.

BUYER NOTES

The acceptance run and fault handling

In the acceptance run, follow representative cells through loading, precharge, formation and unloading, and record ID, voltage, current, time, temperature and pressure. Ask for channel accuracy over the quoted range and contact-resistance checks on the offered tray. Capacity grading and final resistance testing are separate scope unless the quotation lists them.

Hangke names safety modules without a cause-and-effect list. Ask how the system handles cell overvoltage, abnormal temperature, lost contact and lost communication, including electrical isolation and safe tray access. At handover, keep recipe versions, maintenance isolation steps and recovery for a part-processed tray. Check the real clearances and utilities on your final line drawing before using the space-saving figure in a comparison with other bids.
