Hangke dry/wet cell-surface wiping station
Hangke's wiping station loads cells automatically and cleans their surfaces, switching between dry and wet wiping. It exchanges data with MES and Hangke gives an output of at least 18 ppm. It is used after electrolyte filling to remove residue from the cell case before sealing, so the cleaning medium and surface limits follow from your next step.
Dry mode, wet mode and the 18 ppm rate
Send the cell or case drawing, the surfaces to clean, the contamination you see now and any areas that must stay untouched or dry. For wet wiping, ask for the fluid feed and wiping layout and check that the fluid suits your case material. Hangke names no fluid, drying method or electrolyte residue it is designed to remove, so ask for these in the offer.
The ≥18 ppm figure comes without cell size, wiping path, contact time or inspection conditions. Ask which loading, wiping, consumable changes and onward transfer steps it includes. Check cleanliness on the wiped cells, because a cycle finished at full speed tells you nothing about the residue left behind.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Published wiping-rate lower bound | ≥18 ppm | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.

Set cleanliness by what the next step needs
Agree a residue, particle or surface-condition limit and a sampling method. If the next step is adhesive, wrapping or inspection, specify the surface condition that step needs, in place of a general request for clean cells. A visual check after wiping can miss residues that matter in your process.
Run cells carrying representative contamination in your chosen wet or dry mode, and inspect wiped and protected areas for scratches, carry-over and leftover fluid. Agree how often the wiping material is changed and what happens when it is worn or soaked. Hangke publishes neither, so list both in the technical offer.
Mode changes, records and handover
Specify what the MES link records: cell ID, chosen mode and recipe, completed wiping, and any inspection or rework status. Agree how a switch from dry to wet is confirmed and what happens when an ID or completion signal is missing. Hangke mentions MES interaction in general terms, so list the fields you need.
At handover, cover fluid and wiping material replacement if supplied, station cleaning, waste and containment duties and safe access to moving parts. Include a planned stop and restart trial and count good wiped cells over the full agreed cycle. Ask Hangke to state any residue reduction or cleanliness figure in writing.
Hangke's profile lists the stations around this one. Wiping removes electrolyte residue after filling, part of the cell assembly sequence, and before the Hangke sealing-pin welding station closes the cell; sample cleanliness checks are set out on the FAT and SAT page.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which contamination must be removed? | The catalogue names no cleaning medium or residue level. | Set a surface limit for the next step and supply sample cells. |
| Does wet mode leave an acceptable surface? | The catalogue does not name the fluid or drying method. | Check material compatibility and inspect for leftover fluid and carry-over. |
| What does ≥18 ppm include? | The catalogue gives ≥18 ppm without a full-cycle basis. | Count good wiped cells with service and inspection steps included. |
