Hangke cell-film wrapping equipment family

Hangke's cell wrapping machines apply insulating film around finished cells. The family handles several film-wrapping processes, controls film tension and binds each cell's data to MES. Hangke lists rates of ≥6/8/10/12 ppm across its configurations. Wrapping is the last step before cells go to module assembly.

Choose the film process first, then the rate

Hangke gives no supported cell sizes, film thickness or material, wrap path, tension range or overlap. Ask which cell and film combinations it has already run. Send your cell drawing, film specification, the coverage you need, any areas left bare and where seams may sit.

The ≥6/8/10/12 ppm options come without a list showing which process or cell each rate applies to, or how pieces are counted. Ask Hangke to quote the rate for your wrap once the wrapping moves and inspections are agreed. Ask also which tools and axes, preparation steps and handling are in the chosen option, and which film consumables it uses.

BUYER NOTES

Judging tension control by the finished wrap

Agree limits for wrinkles, lifting, tears, overlap and position on representative cells, paying attention to edges and corners that matter in your product. Ask for the tension setpoint and range, and how a roll change, splice or feed stop affects it. Hangke names tension control without giving its measuring or control performance.

Run your film and cells for a normal period, then a planned stop and restart or a film change. Inspect coverage and cell condition with the agreed sampling method. If you need an insulation test after wrapping, name the test station and the pass limit in the order, because the wrapping machine itself sets no test voltage.

BUYER NOTES

MES binding, handover and line position

Specify what MES binding records: cell ID, wrapping recipe and configuration, film batch where needed, and inspection and rework status. Decide who releases cells and what happens when an ID cannot be read or an upload fails. Hangke does not publish the interface format, so define the database connection in the project.

At handover, get instructions for film loading, threading and tension setup, fixture changeover, wear parts and safe access to moving parts. Count good wrapped cells under the agreed reject and rework rules. Settle the configuration, film consumption and wrap quality through a trial with your own film.

Hangke's profile lists the end-of-line test equipment that checks cells before wrapping, and wrapping is the last step of the cell assembly sequence. The acceptance testing page explains how to check film placement on samples.

Wrapped cells are then grouped into modules, the step covered by the module and pack category.

Still to confirm

  • The cell sizes, film types and tension range the machine handles.
  • Which of the 6, 8, 10 or 12 ppm rates applies to your wrap, and how it is counted.
  • Whether an insulation test station is included after wrapping.
  • The MES binding fields and interface format.
