Gelon GN-S200P booster-cylinder electrode die cutter
Gelon's GN-S200P punches coated electrode sheets with an adjustable booster-cylinder press and pull-out tooling. It ships with standard positive and negative dies of 56 ×43 mm and 58 ×45 mm, cuts up to 180 ×150 mm and 0.5 mm thick with custom dies, and weighs 130 kg. It suits pouch and coin-cell labs, in a glovebox or on a bench.

Standard dies and the custom envelope
The standard positive die cuts 56 ×43 mm and the standard negative die 58 ×45 mm. With custom tooling the press cuts up to 180 ×150 mm including tabs, for aluminium or copper based electrodes up to 0.5 mm thick. Stroke is about 50 mm and the maximum punching entry reads 3 T; ask the supplier whether that means 3 tonnes of force.
Gelon describes pull-out tooling and a protective housing. One standard positive and negative tool set is included, and custom tools are made to your drawing. Die life is given as 5000–10000 operations without naming the material or wear limit. Input power is 100 W for the controls; the cylinder runs on external gas, so plan the gas supply separately.

Set measurable edge limits
Send the collector, coating weight on each face, cut outline and tab area. Gelon describes minimal burr and no indentation but gives no burr height, size tolerance or delamination limit. Agree the measuring method and the limits your next process needs, and inspect first-off parts and later parts from the same die against them.
Ask how die clearance, registration and replacement are handled. Your electrode may need a new die before 10000 operations, so set the change point from measured edge and shape drift. Include waste removal and clean access to the pull-out tooling in the demonstration.

Gas, glovebox space and transfer size
The cylinder needs 0.5–0.8 MPa of argon or nitrogen when the press sits in a glovebox, and plain compressed air on a bench. Order either the AC220 V/50 Hz or the 110 V/60 Hz build. The press measures about 662 ×582 ×830 mm and weighs 130 kg net. The packed length is listed as 600 mm, shorter than the body itself, so ask for a corrected packing and transfer drawing.
Check tool withdrawal, fixtures, support and access inside your own glovebox, which is a separate purchase. Under the supplier procedure, watch a die change, a deliberately mispositioned sheet and an interrupted stroke. Gelon gives no production rate, so measure accepted parts per hour with operator loading and inspection. Similar presses in the catalogue are useful for comparison when you need a different size or die.
Cut electrodes go on to stacking or coin-cell assembly, the winding and stacking category being the next step for pouch work.
