WinAck EC-A350 roll-fed electrode die cutter
The WinAck EC-A350 die-cuts shaped electrode sheets with tabs from coated rolls under 350 mm wide. A servo-fed pallet belt carries sheets to a receiving platform and edge scrap is rewound. It is built for intermittent coating; continuous coating needs a matching die, and operators unload the sheets by hand.

Die-cut size, sheet range and roll input
WinAck lists a maximum die-cut size of 260 ×330 mm, a 25 mm stroke and a force entry of up to 8 T. Ask the supplier to state what the T unit means for its press force. Finished sheets run 90–200 mm long excluding tabs, with width 40–330 mm and tab length 10–60 mm. Send the electrode outline, coating edge and tab drawing so the die can be designed to match.
Rolls must be under 350 mm wide and up to 450 mm in diameter on a 76.2 mm core. The normal input is intermittent coating with ±0.5 mm coating deviation, and continuously coated electrodes need a matching die. The table pairs aluminium foil with an 'anode' row and copper with a 'cathode' row, so have WinAck correct the foil and polarity labels for your chemistry.

Tracking the pattern and measuring the edge
Unwinding uses automatic web correction, a floating roller for tension and servo traction. WinAck gives ±0.50 mm unwinding correction accuracy and ±0.10 mm finished dimensional accuracy. The first figure is a control value and the second describes the cut sheet. Agree how the die follows the coated pattern and how sheets are measured once unloaded, since a good sheet size alone tells you little about coating registration.
The catalogue limits burrs to 0.03 mm and powder drop to a width below 0.50 mm, with tighter ranges available on request. Agree the magnification, measuring direction, sample positions and allowed coating loss. Then run your own foil and coating through a trial long enough to see tool wear, dust extraction and cleaning intervals.

Hand unloading belongs in the output count
Cut sheets travel on the pallet belt to a receiving platform, scrap is rewound, and an operator removes the sheets. WinAck quotes 10–35 pieces/minute, at least 95% utilisation and 98% yield without full test conditions. Base acceptance on good sheets collected, counting separation, inspection, tool changes and rejects. Set a handling method that keeps sheets flat, unmarked and sorted by polarity.
The enclosed cover has a door-open stop; see it work during the factory demonstration. Power is single-phase 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz, 4.5 kW, and air must be at least 0.6 MPa at 10 L/min. The machine measures 3400 ×1400 ×1800 mm and weighs about 3500 kg, so plan floor loading, roll loading, scrap removal and access for die changes.
The cut sheets usually go next to a stacker such as the WinAck SA100S Z-fold station.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Does the die fit the coating pattern? | Intermittent coating is the normal input; continuous coating needs a matching die. | Approve the outline, tab and coating-registration drawings with WinAck. |
| How will edge defects be measured? | The catalogue limits burrs to 0.03 mm and powder drop below 0.50 mm without a test method. | Agree sampling and measurement, then trial across several wear states. |
| What output includes manual unloading? | Feeding and cutting are automatic; sheets are unloaded by hand at 10–35 pieces/minute quoted. | Count good sheets collected over a full timed run. |
