Double-sided dry-film forming and lamination machine
TYNK's double-sided machine forms dry electrode film and laminates it to both sides of the current collector in one pass. It lists 10–20 rollers, up to 1,000 mm roller width, up to 800 mm film width, 50 m/min mechanical speed and film down to 50 μm, with electric or heat-transfer-oil heating.

Rollers, width, speed and film thickness
The product page lists 10–20 rollers, a roller width of up to 1,000 mm, a film-forming width of up to 800 mm, a mechanical speed of up to 50 m/min and a minimum film thickness of 50 μm. Heating is by electricity or heat-transfer oil. The roller diameter range starts at 200 mm in the promotional text and at 150 mm in the parameter table, so ask TYNK to confirm the roller schedule in writing.
TYNK describes forming film on both sides and laminating it to the current collector at the same time, with automatic winding and unwinding, edge trimming and alignment. The larger and faster figures on TYNK's company page come from its wider equipment history; quote this machine on its own row.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Roller count | 10–20 rollers | known |
| Mechanical speed | Maximum 50 m/min | known |
| Film forming width | Maximum 800 mm | known |

Test the film and its laminate at one operating point
Send the powder formulation, binder system, loading and target film thickness. Ask for a trial that records the roller set-up, heating, speed, film uniformity and adhesion to your chosen collector. The 50 m/min figure is a mechanical limit; your accepted output depends on the formulation.
Look at start-up scrap, edge trim and the first usable laminate after a roll change. The quotation should state how feed material is prepared and how the laminate is handled afterwards, and which other dry-electrode steps, if any, are included.

Match film samples to the quoted machine set-up
Get the model's roller drawings, usable width and speed conditions settled before you prepare sample material. Keep the wider family figures for background only. Ask the supplier which dry-material and binder conditions it would use for film forming and lamination, and have your technical team approve the process requirements.
In a typical trial, keep labelled film samples together with thickness profiles, defect notes and machine settings. Separate start-up material, usable film and losses at stops or changes. Inspect how the two faces are laid down and how the film transfers, on the machine itself. Write wear parts, cleaning and format-change duties into the handover. The trial records and a current approved drawing together settle the roller dimensions for your order.
Laminated electrode then goes to pressing and cutting; the electrode slitting category lists the machines for the cutting step.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which width and speed belong to this model? | The product page gives 800 mm film width and 50 m/min; the company page quotes larger figures for other machines. | Get the model sheet and a film trial on your recipe. |
| Which roller dimension is correct? | The roller diameter starts at 200 mm in the promotional text and 150 mm in the table. | Request the current drawing and link it to pressure and film-thickness control. |
Equipment questions
Is the film width 1,200 mm?
No. This product page gives a maximum film width of 800 mm. The wider examples on the company page belong to other machines.
