ZYJ-02 cylindrical-cell vacuum electrolyte filler

The TOB-ZYJ-02 fills cylindrical cells with electrolyte under vacuum, holding them in clamps on a tray. It takes 18650, 26650 and 32650 cases, with clamps for other sizes on request. TOB lists a 0–7 g dose, ±0.02 g accuracy and one to ten fill repeats. The 18650 tray holds six rows of eight cells.

Cases, tray, dose and services

TOB names 18650, 26650 and 32650 cylindrical cases and describes changing clamps for other formats. The 18650 tray has six rows by eight columns. The fill quantity adjusts from 0–7 g with ±0.02 g accuracy, and the fill can repeat from one to ten times.

The machine needs 0.3–0.6 MPa compressed air and 1,500 W of power, and lists −0.1 MPa vacuum. Ask which nozzle, seal material, electrolyte and sequence TOB used to measure the ±0.02 g figure.

BUYER NOTES

Weigh what stays in the cell

Decide whether acceptance is based on liquid delivered or on the net mass held in the cell after the full cycle. Weigh labelled cells by a set method and wipe off any liquid left on the case or fixture. Weigh at the same point in time after every fill.

Trial your target mass with your electrolyte and core. Record underfill and overfill for each cell, since a tray average can hide errors in both directions.

BUYER NOTES

Environment and soak time

Ask which materials touch the electrolyte and how the dosing path is cleaned between formulations. Check whether the machine can go into your dry room or glovebox and how vacuum exhaust is handled. The vacuum chamber controls pressure during filling; room dryness or inert gas comes from your own enclosure.

For each cycle you consider, record evacuation, dosing, pressure recovery and soak time. Check wetting with a method agreed for your core design. Extra fill repeats are a setting to try; measure penetration to see whether they help.

Cells must be dry before filling, which the electrode drying page explains, and the formation and capacity grading page describes what happens after the cell is sealed.

DecisionWhat the catalogue saysNext step
Which cell fixture is included? The catalogue names three case sizes and gives a six-by-eight 18650 tray.Review clamp and nozzle drawings for your case opening and tray layout.
How is ±0.02 g measured? The catalogue gives ±0.02 g with no electrolyte or test conditions.Weigh each cell after the full cycle in a trial at your dose and repeat count.
Does the cycle wet the core fully? The catalogue offers one to ten adjustable repeats.Agree evacuation and soak settings, then check wetting on your core design.

Equipment questions

How many cells per hour does a 48-position tray give?

Six by eight is the 18650 tray layout. Output also depends on fill repeats, evacuation and soak time, loading and unloading. Ask TOB to time a full tray cycle with your settings and the fixture it quotes.
