JYCM-800 laboratory sheet slot-die coater
The TOB-JYCM-800 coats electrode sheets by driving an applicator up to 800 mm across foil held on a heated vacuum plate. A TOB-JY100 slot die is standard, and the page also shows blade and wire-rod methods. After coating, the sheet dries under a cover at up to 130°C. It suits labs comparing coating settings on small samples.

Travel, plate, applicators and heating
TOB lists motor-driven travel adjustable to 800 mm, coating speed of 0–200 mm/s and a 900 × 200 × 32 mm vacuum plate. The standard applicator is the TOB-JY100 slot die. The page also pictures doctor-blade, four-side and wire-rod applicators; ask which of these are in your order.
Heating runs from room temperature to 130°C with ±1°C controller accuracy. The scraper adjusts over 0.01–3.5 mm. That is the applicator gap, and wet film thickness and uniformity have to be measured on the coated sheet.

Pick the experiment, then the applicator
For a slot-die trial, ask how slurry is fed to the die and how flow is matched to travel speed. For a blade or rod trial, record the gap or rod chosen and the starting amount of slurry. Keep these setups apart when comparing results.
The usable coated area is smaller than the plate once clamps, start-up flow and run-out take up part of the foil. Send a drawing of the coated area you need, the substrate thickness and any bare margins.

Measure the film
Decide whether acceptance is based on wet thickness, dry thickness or dry coat weight. Measure along and across the usable sheet, including the start and end. Record how the foil is held, slurry temperature, applicator setup and travel speed with each sample.
TOB describes removing the applicator and then heating the sheet under a cover. That is batch drying of one sheet at a time, which behaves differently from a continuous dryer on a production line, so plan separate trials before scaling up.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Does 800 mm travel give the length you need? | The catalogue gives travel adjustable to 800 mm and a 900 mm plate. | Mark the even-coating area you need and have it shown on your foil. |
| Which applicator is supplied? | The catalogue names the TOB-JY100 slot die as standard and pictures other methods. | List dies, blades, rods and any slurry feed equipment in the quotation. |
| How will film quality be judged? | The catalogue gives plate size and 0.01–3.5 mm scraper adjustment only. | Agree sample positions, drying conditions and a wet or dry measurement. |
Equipment questions
Which power supply should the quotation state?
The table has one row for AC110–220 V supply and another for 220 V/50 Hz heating. Ask TOB for a single electrical schedule covering the machine and heater you are buying before planning installation.
