Hangke solid-state result-based cell sorter
Hangke's solid-state cell sorter puts cells into grades using capacity, voltage and other performance data from earlier tests. It loads and unloads automatically, handles multiple grades and lists an output of at least 6 ppm. It sits after formation and capacity grading in a solid-state cell line.
Where the sorting data comes from
The page gives no cell format or size, grade count, handling mechanism or built-in capacity or voltage meter. Ask whether the results come from an earlier station or whether measurement is part of the quoted machine, and fix that boundary in the order. Ask also for this sorter's own handling limits; the force and temperature ranges on Hangke's all-solid-state formation equipment belong to that equipment.
Send the cell geometry, allowed contact and handling conditions and your grade rules. Define the required results, units, maximum age and recipe version, and what happens with missing or conflicting values. Ask how many grade positions the machine has, how much each holds and its sorting error rate.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Published sorting-rate lower bound | ≥6 ppm | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.

Confirming each cell reaches its grade
Specify how cells are identified on entry and the layout of the receiving positions. Require a rule for full or unavailable grade positions and for results that fit no allowed grade. The proposal should show how the source position and the destination confirmation stay linked.
Run realistic grade mixes, a missing-result case and an uneven distribution using the supplier's safe sample set. Check handling condition and match the cells in each destination against their recorded grades. If output matters, count good sorted cells with blocked destinations and rejects included, since the ≥6 ppm figure comes without conditions.
Cell entry state and recovery after a stop
For cells coming from a pressure- and temperature-controlled process, define the state in which the sorter takes them, and who handles load release or cool-down before that. Hangke does not say the sorter holds any compression or temperature while sorting, so agree these interfaces for your cell and upstream equipment.
Agree how a stop records cells already picked or part-moved, and check that a restart keeps every cell's identity. At handover, cover fixture and tool changes, wear checks, safe access and stored grade-rule versions. The sorter acts on your test data, so the quality of each grade depends on the upstream tests.
The capacity and voltage data come from formation and grading, as the formation and capacity grading page explains, and the cell measurement page describes the OCV and resistance values used. The acceptance testing page shows how to verify that sorted bins match the data.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Where do capacity/voltage results originate? | The page describes sorting by results and names no meters. | Define who owns upstream results and which fields are required. |
| What happens when a grade destination is full? | The page lists multiple grades without receiving capacity. | Watch blocked destinations and safe holds of the result. |
| What condition does the cell enter in? | The page gives no load or temperature range. | Agree upstream release, cool-down and handling limits. |
