Hangke water-cooled prismatic/blade capacity-grading family
Hangke builds water-cooled, high-voltage DC-bus capacity-grading equipment in three versions: prismatic power cells with 200/400/800 A output, aluminium-case storage cells with ≤3°C temperature deviation, and vertical blade cells with PID control, ≤±2°C uniformity and 15–25% lower energy use. All grade cells by measured capacity after formation.
What each version lists
The prismatic power-cell version offers output current of 200/400/800 A and supports several tray types. It gives no current concurrency, voltage range or tray and contact drawings. The vertical blade version lists PID temperature control, ≤±2°C uniformity, 15–25% lower energy use and 52 protection items, without the energy baseline, measuring positions or a list of the protections.
The storage-cell version gives a temperature deviation of ≤3°C with water cooling, better efficiency and safety monitoring. That figure is a deviation, separate from the blade version's uniformity and from cell-temperature accuracy. Each figure belongs to its own version, so ask for the current options and energy figures of the storage version directly. Request a signed configuration with bus layout, per-channel limits and the installed contacts.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Power-cell output-current configurations | 200 / 400 / 800 A | known |
| Blade stated temperature uniformity | ≤±2 °C | known |
| Storage stated temperature deviation | ≤3 °C | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.
Fixing the capacity recipe
Send the cell's nominal and maximum voltage, the charge/discharge current, cut-offs, rest times and temperature conditions. Agree how capacity is integrated, its uncertainty and which result sets the grade. Hangke describes screening without a full capacity recipe, accuracy figure or grade limit, so put these in the order.
Run the chosen electrical sequence on representative cells with traceable meter checks. Check the contacts, the channel-to-cell map and shared bus and power limits at the planned simultaneous load. The current option tells you the channel rating; recipe length, loading, cooling and retest rules set the real output of the installed system.
Water cooling, protections and records
Specify coolant flow, supply temperature and quality, heat rejection and where temperature is judged. Decide whether the limit applies to air, coolant, fixture or cell temperature, and compare at the planned occupancy and load. Hangke gives no utility schedule or temperature map under load, so request both.
Ask for the list of protections and how each responds; the figure of 52 is a count. Define per-cell records of recipe, calibration and result, who owns the grade, recovery after an interruption and the handling of incomplete results. At handover, cover probe and tray maintenance, cooling isolation and changeover between configurations. Measure capacity, energy use and cell yield on your own cells during acceptance.
Upstream formation systems appear on Hangke's profile, and the formation and capacity grading page explains why grading needs a full cycle per cell.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which configuration supplies the quoted current and temperature figures? | Each of the three versions lists different current and temperature figures. | Keep a signed specification for the version you buy. |
| What recipe defines the capacity grade? | The pages list no cut-offs, duration or measurement uncertainty. | Fix electrical and temperature conditions and who owns the grade. |
| Does cooling meet the limit under load? | The temperature figures come without occupancy or measuring positions. | Map agreed temperatures at the planned simultaneous load. |
