Hangke prismatic OCV/ACIR and storage shell-voltage test family
Hangke offers two OCV/ACIR test stations for prismatic cells. The power-cell station loads, scans and tests OCV and ACIR with voltage compensation and automatic calibration at ≥20 ppm. The storage-cell station tests voltage, shell voltage, temperature and ACIR on aluminium-case cells. Both connect to MES and sit after formation and ageing.
Power-cell station and storage-cell station
The power-cell station combines automatic loading, scanning, OCV measurement, ACIR testing and MES interaction. Hangke names voltage compensation and automatic calibration and gives ≥20 ppm, without a cell size, rest time, meter range or cycle conditions. Ask for those conditions before you use the rate in a line plan.
The storage-cell station tests voltage, shell voltage, temperature and ACIR on aluminium-case storage cells, with automatic testing and calibration and an MES link. Shell voltage depends on a defined path between case and terminal, which the page does not describe, and no insulation test voltage is given. If you need a withstand test, specify it separately. DCIR pulse ratings belong to Hangke's separate DCIR stations.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Power-cell stated production lower bound | ≥20 ppm | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.
Rest conditions, ACIR settings and calibration
Specify the cell SOC, temperature and time since the previous electrical step before comparing OCV. For ACIR, ask for the excitation frequency and amplitude, meter range, sensing and contact layout and how a poor contact is handled. Neither page lists these. Temperature checks need their own sensor position and uncertainty.
Ask what the voltage compensation corrects and how automatic calibration uses traceable references. Repeat measurements across the contacts and on representative cells under the agreed rest and temperature conditions. Test the reference and fault checks using Hangke's safe procedures. Ask for the full-system accuracy and the case-voltage limit in writing.
Complete results before release
Define the cell and tray IDs, meter settings, recipe and calibration version, and the results required before release. For the storage station, decide whether a missing shell-voltage or temperature result holds the cell even when OCV and ACIR are present. Agree who owns the limits and how retests are marked.
Try an unreadable ID, a failed measurement and a lost MES acknowledgement, and check that no partial record passes downstream. Ask for contact and sensor maintenance and current fixture and changeover drawings. If the ≥20 ppm rate matters, time the full good cycle of your configuration with the agreed test and rest steps. Physical NG sorting is a separate function; ask whether it is included and how it is checked at acceptance.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which electrical paths are required for the storage cell? | The catalogue lists shell voltage without defining the case-to-terminal path. | Approve measuring points and limits, and order any withstand test separately. |
| What does compensation/calibration verify? | The catalogue names both functions without methods or uncertainty. | Specify references and repeated checks over the full path. |
| Can a partial result be released? | The catalogue lists an MES link without completeness rules. | Define required result fields and missing-data interlocks. |
