Hangke pouch-cell switching capacity-grading system
Hangke's pouch-cell capacity-grading system uses a switching power design and runs constant-current and constant-voltage charging and discharging. It has up to 72 channels on dual trays, with modular maintenance, temperature-control optimisation and safety protection. It sorts pouch cells by measured capacity after formation.
72 channels, two trays and the switching design
Ask whether 72 channels is the installed electrical maximum, one tray or both trays together, and how tray positions map to channels. Hangke does not say whether all channels can run at full load at once, or which tab and cell sizes fit. Two trays help handling and machine use; the electrical rating stays the same.
Hangke says the switching design improves charge/discharge efficiency, without an efficiency figure or baseline. Ask for the voltage and current ranges, per-channel resolution and accuracy, and any shared power limits. Get these figures for this pouch system specifically, since Hangke's blade and prismatic water-cooled machines have their own ratings.

Grading recipe and tab contact
Send the pouch and tab drawings and the allowed clamp force or travel. Agree the CC/CV steps, cut-offs, rests and cell temperature, and which measured capacity sets the grade. Capacity acceptance should use calibrated electrical references and show repeatability with the agreed contact and temperature set-up.
Ask how the system finds a missing or poor tab contact and how it treats a part-filled tray. Run a representative recipe and a contact fault approved by Hangke. Hangke mentions temperature-control optimisation without sensor positions, a temperature range or uniformity under load, so define all three for the trial.
Module maintenance, records and recovery
For modular maintenance, list which electrical and mechanical sections can be swapped, the isolation needed and the calibration checks before a returned channel goes back into use. Hangke does not describe hot swapping or running through maintenance, so ask whether either is possible.
Define the stored record: cell, tray and channel IDs, recipe version, test completion and who owns the grade. Agree recovery after a power or communication loss and the handling of incomplete or repeated results. At handover, cover tab-contact wear, tray changes, temperature sensors and protection responses. The 72-channel figure is a configuration limit; measure good-cell output and efficiency during acceptance.
Hangke's profile lists the formation systems that come before grading.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| How do two trays map to 72 channels? | The catalogue lists a 72-channel maximum and dual trays without a mapping. | Get a signed channel and tray layout with shared power limits. |
| What recipe defines the capacity grade? | The catalogue lists CC/CV charging and discharging without cut-offs or rests. | Approve the recipe, references and temperature and contact checks. |
| How is a replaced module requalified? | The catalogue mentions modular maintenance without a calibration sequence. | Specify isolation, post-service checks and record identity. |
