Hangke consumer-cell hot-press formation/grading family
Hangke makes two hot-press formation and grading machines for small consumer cells. The 3C version handles pouch cells for digital devices with precision pressure control at 16 ppm. The Bluetooth version adds robot handling, visual positioning, multi-model production, automatic changeover and defect screening at 15 ppm. Both combine formation and capacity grading.
The 3C and Bluetooth versions
Hangke describes the 3C version for pouch cells in digital devices. It combines formation and capacity grading with a modular, flexible layout and precision pressure control, and lists 16 ppm. It gives no force or pressure range, temperature range or measuring conditions. The Bluetooth version lists 15 ppm, robot logistics, visual positioning, multi-model production, and automatic changeover and defect screening. Those handling features belong to the Bluetooth version.
Ask what the rate counts: loading and unloading, fixture entry, or cells finishing a set electrical sequence. Formation includes charge, discharge and rest steps that take longer than a short mechanical cycle. Ask Hangke for current, capacity and temperature limits and the Bluetooth cell sizes it supports, since the application names give none.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| 3C stated rate | 16 ppm | known |
| Bluetooth stated rate | 15 ppm | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.
Fixtures, contacts and the electrical recipe
Send the case or pouch size, tab positions, thickness tolerance and how much compression or deformation is allowed. Agree the contact surfaces, load spread and terminal sensing. Hangke mentions precision pressure without a contact area or accuracy figure, so request a force or pressure definition and calibration method for your configuration.
Specify the electrical steps, cut-offs, rest times and where temperature is measured. Run representative cells and record the fixture and recipe version with each result. For changeover, check how tools are identified and what stops a new cell size from running on the old recipe or vision position. Ask Hangke which consumer-cell drawings it has already run on the machine.
Defect screening, fault recovery and handover
For the Bluetooth version, ask for the list of defect checks and the physical hold and reject route. Visual positioning locates the cell; ask whether it also inspects anything. For both machines, agree the steps for cutting electrical power, controlling heat and load, and releasing a cell after an interruption.
At handover, cover fixture and contact wear, calibration of electrical, load and temperature readings, guards, robot access where fitted, and who owns recovery. If the catalogue rate drives your purchase, count good cells over the full agreed recipe. Ask Hangke to state force range, cell yield and defect detection rate in the offer, because the summaries give no figures for them.
Hangke's profile lists its larger formation systems, and the acceptance test planning page sets out how to check temperature and pressure on a full fixture.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| What operation does 16/15 ppm count? | The catalogue gives 16 and 15 ppm without recipe or channel details. | Count good output over the full chosen sequence. |
| Can the fixture accept the new cell tabs? | The catalogue gives no cell size or contact range. | Approve your drawing and run a loaded trial. |
| Which defects are actually screened? | The Bluetooth version names defect screening without methods. | List the tests, limits and reject route in the offer. |
