Gelon roll-fed electrode die-cutting and stacking integration
Gelon's integrated machine takes a positive electrode roll, a negative electrode roll and a separator roll, cuts both electrodes at their own stations and stacks them into a single core. Electrode webs run 50–100 mm wide and separator 52–105 mm, on 3-inch cores up to 200 mm in diameter. It suits small-format stacked cell lines, once the cutting method and utilities are confirmed.
Three rolls in, one stacked core out
The machine has one positive cutting station, one negative cutting station and a stacking station. Electrode webs are 50–100 mm wide and separator 52–105 mm, with a maximum roll outer diameter of 200 mm and 3-inch cores on all three. The output is one stacked cell core. Layer count, stack thickness, sustained output and finishing are not listed.
The text calls the process laser die cutting but then describes glue-applied dies driven by pneumatic cylinders, and names no laser source. Ask the supplier for cutting station drawings and tooling details to see which method you are buying. Gelon's wider catalogue also uses the term laser die for some tools, so keep this in mind when comparing metal dies with those.

Incoming roll limits and finished stack limits
Incoming material may have camber up to 1 mm/1000 mm, transverse wave edge up to 1 mm/1000 mm, longitudinal wave edge up to 2 mm/1000 mm and roll side alignment within 2 mm. Width tolerance is written as ±0.1 mm/1000 mm, and cut wave and curl as ±1 mm; ask for a marked material drawing that explains each one.
Cutting accuracy is within ±0.2 mm and stacking accuracy within ±0.5 mm. Die life reads 5000–10000 with no unit, so ask whether that means strokes. Decide which dimensions are measured at each stage and inspect the stack after it is released. Separator coverage needs its own check on the finished stack. Burr, particle and material results are not published.

Utilities, size and floor load
Air is 0.5–0.7 MPa at 2000 L/min. Supply is AC380 V three-phase ±10%, with one row giving 80 kW at 50 Hz and another 130 kVA excluding dust collection at 50/60 Hz. Real power and apparent power differ, and the configuration behind each is not stated, so get a signed utility schedule.
Dimensions are printed as 1380 ×760 ×760 mm, subject to final design, and the floor must bear more than 500 kg/m², with no total mass given. Request a full layout and foundation drawing. During acceptance, watch the full sequence from roll to cut to stack, a feed fault and a restart, with every layer traceable. Gelon lists a failure rate of at most 2%; agree how it will be measured on your line.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Is cutting optical or pneumatic die cutting? | The page says laser die cutting and describes dies driven by cylinders. | Approve actual station drawings and tooling. |
| Do incoming tolerances support the final stack? | The page lists roll, cut and stack limits with different or unclear datums. | Agree material checks and completed-stack inspection. |
| Which power and dimensions apply to the quote? | The page lists 80 kW, 130 kVA and a size marked subject to final design. | Get signed load, layout and foundation schedules. |
