Manual loading, automatic testing
ACEY's table covers cells 100–300 mm long, 20–85 mm wide and 100–300 mm high, with seven sorting grades plus NG. A PC runs the machine. The operator loads cells, and the test runs automatically; the internal-resistance tester brand is a buyer option. Ask how tested cells reach each channel and which unloading and refill tasks stay with the operator.
ACEY quotes up to 1000 cells per hour without stating the cell size, handling, test dwell or bin spread behind it. Ask for a timed cycle with the tester you will receive and your own cells. Plan for an operator at the station, and note that a bin that fills quickly adds emptying time.

Fix the measurement conditions before you set bins
ACEY describes the machine as having 'micro-level accuracy', with no voltage or resistance specification behind it. Ask for the instrument model, ranges, accuracy, contact design, resistance test frequency or method, and calibration certificates. Your acceptance procedure should fix cell temperature, rest time, state of charge and contact cleanliness.
Set real grade thresholds and decide how cells on a boundary are graded. Include reference cells or agreed standards and repeat measurements to judge stability. ACEY says the machine handles LiFePO4 and NCM cells; each chemistry and cell design needs its own matching rule. Base the grouping policy on your module requirements.

Ask to see the MES link working
ACEY states that an MES interface is available, with data upload and SPC reports. Ask for the protocol, the record fields, how results attach to each cell ID, and what the machine does when the network drops or a cell has no readable ID. Check whether raw readings, grade decisions, tester settings and calibration version are all stored. Have the link demonstrated with your own MES before acceptance.
Listed utilities are 220 V at 50/60 Hz and air at 0.5–0.6 MPa. The machine measures about 1955 × 1624 × 1596 mm and weighs 477 kg. The page also gives a wide ambient range and a floor-load statement; ask ACEY to confirm both for the configured tester and its support points. PS8 measures OCV and internal resistance. Capacity needs a charge/discharge test on separate equipment, and ageing or self-discharge checks may also feed your grouping. ACEY lists no capacity channels for PS8 and gives no pack-life figure.
