Half-cell thermal lamination cutting and stacking system
ZTH's half-cell thermal lamination cutting and stacking system bonds electrode to separator with electromagnetic heated rollers, then stacks at 0.125 s per piece (480 PPM). It lists ±0.4 mm electrode-to-separator centre deviation, ±0.3 mm adjacent alignment, separator-defect detection and 100 kW installed power on 380 V, 50 Hz.

Half-cell figures: preparation and stacking rates
ZTH's product table gives half-cell stacking at 0.125 s per piece, or 480 PPM. Electrode preparation is listed at 240 or more for electrode widths of 80–120 mm. The BI-CELL column has its own rates and tolerances; quote this machine on the Half-cell column.
Half-cell tolerances are ±0.4 mm centre deviation between electrode and separator, ±0.3 mm between adjacent electrodes and ±0.5 mm overall electrode alignment. Installed power is 100 kW on a three-phase 380 V, 50 Hz supply. ZTH describes electromagnetic heated rollers, separator-defect detection and multi-piece stacking and pressing; confirm each in the quotation.
The stated pass rate counts only defects caused by the machine, and the stated availability counts only machine failures. Track incoming-material rejects and other downtime on their own lines to get overall yield and uptime.

Follow the heated laminate all the way to the stack
Send electrode sizes, the separator and the planned layer structure. Agree the lamination conditions, edge quality and how the finished stack is inspected. Ask how the preparation stage feeds the stacking stage and how buffers affect sustained output.
Ask for a loaded run that includes start-up, roll changes and rejected material. Keep the counting unit and the exclusion rules with the results. Ask ZTH to confirm that the figures above match the current revision of its product page.

Trace preparation output into finished laminate stacks
Set out the half-cell laminate layout, sheet sizes and separator position in a controlled drawing. Ask which operations sit in preparation and which in stack assembly, with the buffers and transfer points marked. A high preparation rate upstream helps, but the figure that matters is the number of complete good stacks leaving the machine.
In the trial, keep sheet and stack IDs with the cut-quality and alignment notes. Decide which defects are checked before stacking and which on the finished stack. Log rejected sheets, rejected stacks and machine stops with their causes, each on its own line. Ask for the recovery and format-change steps along with the delivered tooling list. With these records the quoted rates can be read against your own laminate and acceptance limits.

Tie acceptance to the ZTH site that builds the machine
ZTH's company introduction separates its registered office from its manufacturing sites. Ask which site will build and demonstrate the quoted system, and name the contracting entity in the acceptance plan. Accept the machine on a trial with your electrode and lamination conditions; site size and capacity figures describe the company.
ZTH's profile explains its Dongguan and Taizhou sites, and the acceptance testing page shows where a lamination trial fits in a factory test.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which operation owns the rate figure? | The table gives 240 or more for preparation and 480 PPM for half-cell stacking, with BI-CELL rates in a separate column. | Ask for a cycle breakdown for your laminate design. |
| What establishes a good stack? | The table gives ±0.4, ±0.3 and ±0.5 mm alignment tolerances and a machine-only pass rate. | Agree dimension, burr and stack checks on a traced trial batch. |
Equipment questions
Does the 800 PPM figure apply here?
No. That figure is in the BI-CELL column. Half-cell stacking is listed at 480 PPM, which is one station rate within the whole line.
Source s2Is 99% the total yield from material to good stack?
No. ZTH limits that figure to machine-caused defects. Count incoming rejects and other losses separately during acceptance.
