WinAck H10B ten-channel cylindrical OCV/IR sorter
The WinAck H10B tests cylindrical cells for open-circuit voltage and internal resistance and routes them to nine OK channels and one NG channel. Operators fill a hopper and the machine measures and sorts automatically. It prepares matched groups for pack building; capacity is measured on other equipment.

Which cell format the quote is built around
The feature text ties a 500-cell hopper and roughly 5000 cells/hour to an 18650 prototype, while the technical table names 21700 as the prototype format. Sizes such as 26650, 26700, 32650 and 32700 are built to order. Ask WinAck which format the hopper size and hourly figure refer to, and request drawings of the feed track, hopper and receiving tooling for your cells.
Loading the hopper is a manual job. Specify the cell orientation, acceptable surface condition and how dented cells are rejected, along with what happens when a cell jams or an output channel fills. WinAck mentions insulating transport materials. Watch the loading and reject sequence run on a representative lot during the factory demonstration.

Voltage and resistance bands, not capacity
WinAck lists a four-wire test arrangement with a Hioki 3561A or an HP3561 instrument. Internal resistance covers 0–60 mΩ at ±0.5% of reading with 0.1 mΩ resolution, and OCV covers 0–10 V at ±0.015% of reading with 0.1 mV resolution. Ask which tester will be installed, at what test frequency, how ranges switch and how contact is checked. Each instrument option needs its own calibration certificate.
Set the OCV/IR bands for a stated state of charge, rest period and cell temperature. Four-wire contacts cut lead-resistance error, though worn or dirty probes can still give false readings. If your matching also depends on capacity, self-discharge or age, plan those as separate test steps. A nine-bin OCV/IR split is a sort by voltage and resistance and should be labelled that way, apart from any capacity grading.

Cell IDs, MES upload and real throughput
The H10B offers network connection and MES upload, and barcode printing and scanning are options. Decide how each cell ID is read and tied to its measurement, and how records are corrected after a jam or a retest. Agree the data fields, protocol and error handling with WinAck, then check a complete sample record arriving in your own system.
Time the roughly 5000 cells/hour figure on your chosen format, with your test settings, hopper refills and bin emptying included. The catalogue allows several component brands, so fix the bill of materials and tester model in the contract. The sorter draws up to 2000 W from a single-phase 220 V ±10%, 50 Hz supply and needs 0.5–0.8 MPa air. The frame is 1260 ×770 ×1680 mm and weighs under 300 kg. Judge acceptance on correct classification and good-cell output together.
Sorted groups move on to welding, the next step in the module and pack category.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which format defines the machine capacity? | The feature text names an 18650 prototype; the table names 21700. | Approve tooling for your format and time its cycle at the factory. |
| What do the sorting bins represent? | The machine measures OCV and internal resistance across nine OK bins and one NG bin. | Set band conditions and add capacity tests where matching needs them. |
| Is each record attached to a cell ID? | Barcode printer and scanner are optional; MES upload is listed. | Run capture, routing, retest and upload with real sample IDs. |
