F-Y blade-cell charging and discharging project
JSH's F-Y project, published in April 2022, is a blade-cell formation and grading line planned at 60 PPM. It combines precharge pressure beds, grading, OCV sorting, DCIR testing and restraint trays, with negative-pressure formation and motor adjustment for several blade-cell variants.

What the F-Y case includes
JSH's April 2022 case gives a planned capacity of 60 PPM. It covers precharge pressure beds, grading, OCV sorting, DCIR testing and restraint trays. Formation runs under negative pressure with the cells held by tray pressure, motors adjust the trays for several blade-cell variants, and channels at the same storage position have different current capabilities.
The 60 PPM figure is a planned rate for that project, distinct from electrical dwell time and from output on another cell. Ask for the cell dimensions, tray loading, formation recipe, current allocation and logistics assumptions behind any capacity JSH proposes to you. JSH says it handled design, manufacture, installation and commissioning for the case; ask for the acceptance record of that project.

Work out tray occupancy and availability together
Ask how formation time, grading time and transport time set the number of occupied trays and channels. Check how pressure and negative pressure are controlled for your cell, and how an interrupted cycle is detected and recovered.
Agree how cell identity passes between charging, OCV, DCIR and sorting. With channels of mixed current capability, you need a rule for allocating channels so no cell lands on a recipe it cannot run. Acceptance should cover the electrical results and a representative logistics run in which rejects and out-of-service positions are handled openly.

Model occupancy before calling a planned rate output
Begin with your cell's formation programme. List the time taken by loading, connection, each electrical step, rest periods, unloading and any approved recovery sequence. Ask for the usable position count, and keep installed positions apart from those available in an accepted production run. Label the result as a planning model until a factory run measures it.
Use current project drawings to see which handling and formation stations the proposal covers. Note whether a planned output allows for downtime, rejected cells or recipe changes. The 2022 case shows how JSH integrates such a line; a new cell programme needs its own rate. Ask for a current acceptance plan for your cell and the records that link occupied positions to released cells. Rely on equipment drawings and documents, since a building photograph tells you nothing about the tester.
JSH's profile describes the logistics side of the company, and the Hangke blade-cell formation machine is another example of the same task.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Does the 2022 rate apply today? | The case gives 60 PPM as a planned value for an earlier project. | Ask for a current formation and handling specification for your cell. |
| How many positions does the recipe occupy? | The case gives no dwell time or usable position count. | Model loading, recipe time and recovery occupancy before agreeing output. |
Equipment questions
Is 60 PPM a measured output?
No. The original case calls it a planning value. Ask for dated acceptance records for your product and recipe.
Source s2Does the case image show the tester itself?
No. The case illustration includes a view of the site and building. Ask JSH for photographs and drawings of the tester it is quoting.
