Hangke prismatic power/storage DCIR test family
Hangke makes two DCIR testers for prismatic cells. The power-cell version tests whole or half trays with automatic loading and traceability, and lists 5 V/800 A. The storage-cell version offers 600/800/1000 A output, conveyor links, active testing, water-cooled temperature control and MES upload. Both measure direct-current resistance after formation.
Power-cell and storage-cell ratings
The power-cell version lists 5 V/800 A in a field labelled test current. Ask Hangke to confirm the voltage and current meaning and whether 800 A is a pulse or continuous figure, and per channel or shared. Hangke also lists whole-tray and half-tray testing, automatic loading, testing and traceability.
The storage-cell version offers 600/800/1000 A output, automatic conveyor links, active testing, water-cooled temperature control and MES upload. It gives no voltage rating, pulse length or number of channels pulsing at once. Ask for the voltage that goes with each current option. These are DCIR pulse figures; ACIR needs its own specification. Choose your terminal and tray drawing and hardware layout first.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| Power-cell combined voltage/current statement | 5 V / 800 A | known |
| Storage output-current configurations | 600 / 800 / 1000 A | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.
Pulse recipe, SOC and temperature
Specify the current pulse, rest period, voltage sampling windows, resistance calculation and state of charge. Set the cell temperature before the pulse and the temperature conditions during repeat tests. Neither page gives these values, and a fair comparison between bids depends on them. Fix one DCIR recipe in the order.
Ask for the sensing and contact design and a plan for catching shifted or poor contacts. Trial representative cells in the chosen tray positions with calibrated references, and agree an uncertainty and repeatability check. Include a poor-contact case approved by Hangke. Check whole-tray and half-tray running against your real occupied positions and channels.
Records, NG decisions and cooling
Define what each record keeps: cell, tray and channel IDs, pulse settings, raw samples where available, calculated resistance, and recipe and calibration version. State which system makes the NG decision and whether this station or a separate handler removes the cell. Agree data-version rules and how incomplete results are held, since the pages mention MES upload only.
Specify water-cooling services for the storage version and heat and power limits under simultaneous load for both. Using safe procedures, interrupt a test and an upload, and check that an incomplete result is held and never attached to the next tray. At handover, cover contacts, calibration, electrical isolation and who restarts the station. Ask Hangke for its pulse recipe, precision figure and good-cell rate in writing.
Hangke's profile lists its cylindrical 46XX DCIR station for comparison, and the formation and capacity grading page shows how DCIR results combine with grading data.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| How is 5 V/800 A defined? | The page shows 5 V/800 A in a field labelled test current. | Confirm voltage, pulse, concurrency and the configuration it applies to. |
| Which conditions define comparable DCIR? | The pages give no SOC, rest, temperature or sampling windows. | Approve a recipe and a repeat-measurement plan across channels. |
| Who performs physical rejection? | The pages describe testing and upload but no NG removal. | Define who decides and how the downstream handler confirms. |
