Hangke cylindrical-cell OCV/IR measurement family
Hangke makes two cylindrical-cell OCV/IR testers. The 46XX station lists ±0.1 mV OCV accuracy with online detection and multiple calibration. The automatic station runs up to 400 channels with scanning, positioning and data upload. Both pair voltage and resistance meters with fast switching, an industrial computer and safety modules, after formation and ageing.
The 46XX station and the 400-channel station
Hangke gives the 46XX station an OCV accuracy of ±0.1 mV, with online detection, automatic testing and multiple calibration. It does not state the voltage range, temperature, reference method or whether the figure covers the whole fixture and switching path. The automatic station lists up to 400 channels with automatic scanning, positioning and upload, and gives no accuracy figure. Ask Hangke for the accuracy of the 400-channel version in writing.
Both stations include an internal-resistance meter, with no frequency, amplitude, range or uncertainty stated. Ask whether the resistance result is ACIR and how the meter settings are recorded. Pulse-current and DCIR figures belong to Hangke's separate discharge-test station. Fix the cell size and channel layout in the signed quotation.
| Parameter | Published value | Record status |
|---|---|---|
| 46XX claimed OCV accuracy | ±0.1 mV | known |
| Automatic cylindrical maximum channels | 400 CH | known |
Catalogue values apply to the configuration and test method the maker states. Ask for the values that apply to your configuration.
Rest time, switching and reference checks
Send the terminal drawing, tray layout and the state of charge, rest time and temperature you will use before comparing OCV results. Specify contact detection, sense wiring and the time from switching to a valid reading. Hangke describes fast switching but gives no full settle-and-measure cycle or the number of channels read at once.
Check the delivered measuring path with a calibrated voltage reference and a suitable resistance reference, then repeat measurements on representative cells across the positions. Agree how a shifted probe, an unstable reading and an out-of-limit reference check are handled. Hangke mentions automatic calibration; ask for the calibration interval, traceability and allowed drift.
Storing results and releasing cells
Each record should carry cell, tray and channel IDs with raw values, units, meter settings, a timestamp and the calibration version. Decide whether the station or the receiving system holds the limits and how retests are marked. Plan a live test of the upload into your own MES database.
Using the supplier's safe procedures, try an unreadable barcode, a deliberately poor contact and an interrupted upload. Check that an incomplete reading can never attach to a neighbouring cell or pass downstream unnoticed. If another machine removes NG cells, define the hand-off and acknowledgement. Ask for probe and switch life, maintenance access and recovery instructions, and treat the channel count as capacity, with good cells per minute measured at acceptance.
Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Which configuration carries the ±0.1 mV statement? | The 46XX page lists ±0.1 mV; the 400-channel page lists no accuracy. | Specify the range and conditions and check the full measuring path. |
| What resistance method is delivered? | The catalogue names a resistance meter without frequency or range. | Fix frequency, range, reference and recorded settings. |
| Can a failed result release a cell? | The catalogue covers data upload; NG removal is a separate machine. | Test the missing-result and ID-fault interlocks. |
