AOT DHL060L dual-planetary slurry dispersion mixer
The AOT DHL060L pairs low-speed planetary blades with two high-speed dispersing shafts in an 88 L vessel that holds a 60 L working batch. AOT lists −0.098 MPa vacuum, a cooled jacket, hydraulic lift and 20 kW power, for pilot-scale electrode slurry.

Two mixing actions in one 60 L batch
The vessel measures 500 mm internal diameter by 450 mm high, with 88 L design volume and 60 L working volume. Double twisted blades and a scraper give the planetary action. Two high-speed shafts each carry two 100 mm discs. Revolution runs 0–39 rpm, blade rotation 0–72 rpm and the dispersing shafts 0–3650 rpm. AOT also quotes a 19 m/s maximum linear speed at the disc edge.
Ask for the minimum fill, the viscosity ceiling and the torque available for your slurry, because the catalogue gives no solids content or mixing time. Run a trial covering your addition order, dispersion, entrained gas and batch homogeneity, with sampling points agreed in advance. A cantilever hydraulic lift with a 500 mm stroke and a 0.75 kW motor raises the head. Check vessel removal and cleaning room on the installation layout.

Vacuum hold and the temperature probe
AOT lists a vacuum level of −0.098 MPa and a static hold of at least −0.085 MPa after four hours, with automatic vacuum compensation running. The pump tops up the vacuum during that hold. If you need a sealed-vessel leak figure, specify the pressure reference, the pumping arrangement and an isolated leak test with the pump valved off.
The introduction describes a Pt100 probe in direct contact with the slurry at ±1°C, and the detailed table places the probe on the tank wall. Ask AOT where the supplied sensor sits and how bulk slurry temperature will be checked. Cooling connections are DN20 for body and bottom circulation. The vessel is designed for −10 to 200°C and the jacket for 0.7 MPa; ask for the heat-removal duty at your mixing speed.

Wetted parts, discharge and the delivery list
Wetted parts are SUS304, and the jacket and bottom construction also use Q235-B. Wall and jacket thicknesses are 5 mm and 4 mm. List every product-contact surface, seal and scraper against your chemistry and contamination limits. AOT describes double mechanical seals with an auxiliary arrangement and says this improves sealing; ask for the seal model and its service interval.
The machine has a 1.5-inch bottom valve, one tank and four casters. Measure the paste left behind, discharge completeness and cleaning access with your real paste. Power is 20 kW at 380 V three-phase 50 Hz, the footprint 1800 × 1150 × 2100 mm and the weight 1700 kg. Confirm whether the pump, chiller, transfer system and controls are in the delivery list, and record homogeneity, temperature and recovered batch mass at acceptance.
AOT's profile lists its smaller mixers for laboratory trials. Size a 60 L batch to what your coater consumes, as the coating width page explains. Ask for the working-volume definition in the quotation, following the guide to writing an RFQ.

Questions that change the purchase
| Decision | What the catalogue says | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Can the actual batch disperse and circulate? | The page lists 60 L working volume and shaft speeds up to 3650 rpm, with no viscosity or solids limit. | Trial your addition sequence and sample homogeneity at agreed points. |
| What does the four-hour vacuum figure measure? | The hold of −0.085 MPa after four hours is stated with automatic compensation on. | Add an isolated leak test with the pump valved off to the acceptance plan. |
| Where is slurry temperature measured? | One part of the page describes a direct-contact probe and another a wall probe. | Ask AOT to name the delivered probe position and check bulk-temperature response. |
